2002 38′ San Juan Project – Kentmorr Marina, Stevensville, MD
Boat: 2002 38’ San Juan
Location: Kentmorr Marina, Stevensville, MD
Project Duration: Two weeks
Job Completed: October 2025
Triton Liners recently completed a two week rebuild of one (1) 290-gallon center fuel tank on a 2002 38′ San Juan at Kentmorr Marina in Stevensville, Maryland. A key part of this project was completing the work without removing the tank, cutting fiberglass or wood, or pulling engines. That approach helps minimize disruption to the vessel while still allowing the tank to be properly restored.
For boat owners, that matters. Major fuel tank work can sound overwhelming, especially when people assume it automatically means extensive teardown. This project shows that with the right process and experience, significant repairs can be completed in place while protecting the surrounding structure of the boat. It is a practical example of how Triton Liners handles complex tank rebuilds with efficiency and care.
