Triton Liners recently completed a two week fuel tank rebuild on a 2015 45′ F&S at Merritt’s Boat and Engine Works in Pompano Beach, Florida. The project involved rebuilding one (1) 600-gallon cockpit fuel tank with a design that was far from simple. Multiple angles, tapers, and notches made this a highly involved job that required careful planning and precise execution from start to finish.

Projects like this highlight the value of experience in custom tank work. Complex tank shapes leave very little room for error, especially when everything must be done with the tank still installed in the boat. Completing the rebuild in place helped avoid a more disruptive teardown while still delivering the level of detail and craftsmanship needed for a dependable result.
