We completed this two week fuel tank rebuild on a 2018 58′ Sunseeker Predator at Bridgeport Boat Works in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The project involved rebuilding one (1) 200-gallon aluminum diesel fuel tank after internal corrosion led to failure. Internal corrosion is a serious issue because it often develops where it cannot be seen until the tank is opened up and inspected. While the scope was smaller than some multi tank projects, this repair still required the same attention to detail and system integrity needed to restore safe, dependable performance.
We also want to thank Bridgeport Boat Works for having the boat fully prepped and ready for our team. It made for a smooth project, and we truly appreciated working with such a great group of people.
